This post is just what I needed. I happened to be making my last visit with my terminally ill father when Vegas happened. It's been an extra terrible two months for me, and remembering what to be grateful for is always a good exercise.

Just a little thing but on your cover page: it should be “who’s going to talk over your head” not “whose.”

I always try to remember the little things in times in times of misfortune. It still amazes me the amount of free information online about so many things. There's so much to learn and never a reason to be bored! People can be so generous in giving their knowledge and help on things.
