I've heard about that show and I really want to watch! I can also see where you're coming from about the Living on a Dollar doc. It was kind of all over the place as far as the main concept. However, I really liked a few of the things they touched on — just agree there could have been more focus!

People keep talking about Dirty Money. I’ll start it right after I finish “End of the F-ing World”, this cool british show that just released 8 episodes.
I watched Living On A Dollar a few years back. It was so good, but I didn’t feel like the documentary was whole. I finished it kinda feeling like something was missing from it. Not sure what though.

The episode of a show that sticks in my mind is the Sex and the City episode where Carrie wants to buy her apartment and realizes she can't because she has bought $40,000 of designer shoes. There are also a few great episodes of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend where Rebecca realizes, despite being a successful lawyer, she is broke.

I haven't even heard of some of these! I love watching documentaries and movies that teach us real lessons/help us understand something. I'll be adding these to my list of must watch movies.
